Opportunities & actions

Work the weekly ranked shortlist and turn each gap into a brief, article, audit, UGC draft or outreach package — nothing publishes without review.

Work the weekly opportunity shortlist

Ranked every Friday by topic frequency × competitive gap × room to improve.

  1. Open Opportunities — clusters are ranked with their signals and score.
  2. Click Convert to action on one (or Dismiss to hide it). The diagnosis routing decides the action type.
  3. Need a fresh ranking now? Click Re-rank now. How ranking works explains the weighting.

Generate a content brief and article

  1. Convert a Create Content opportunity — you land on the action with its structured brief (slug, keywords, intent questions, winning format, section outline, rationale).
  2. Optionally type campaign context into Custom instructions.
  3. Click Volexi writes it — research top-cited sources to have Volexi research and draft the full brand-aware article, or Assign to a writer to keep it manual and export the brief.
  4. When the draft lands, edit it in the in-app editor. Every save is a version; use version history to restore a previous one without losing newer edits.

Audit and improve an existing URL

  1. Open Actions and click Audit a URL (or convert an Improve Content opportunity).
  2. Enter the URL. Volexi runs the 11-test GEO Score and returns a 0–100 score across Authority, Readability and Structure.
  3. Work the improvement brief: 2–3 quick wins, severity-ranked recommendations with before/after rewrites anchored to your live copy, a competitor comparison and an implementation checklist.

Engage UGC and Editorial Coverage actions produce channel-specific drafts (Reddit/YouTube/forum, with target thread + rationale) or an outreach package (outlets, contact, subject, email draft) respectively — the flow is the same: convert, then review.

Review, approve and export

Nothing publishes or sends without human sign-off.

  1. On the action, click Submit for review — status moves draft → in review.
  2. Click Approve for publish (or Reject / Request changes). Approved work is ready to publish or send.
  3. Export any brief or audit with Export to Word or Copy as Markdown.
  4. Track every action's state in the Actions table (draft / in review / approved / published).
